By downloading or using Rhumi, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Rhumi gives you one verse of the Qur'an each day, with a short reflection written in plain modern English, chosen in part by how you tell us you're feeling. It also lets you keep a private journal and ask questions about the Qur'an and hadith.
Rhumi does not give religious rulings (fatwa), legal advice, medical advice or mental health treatment. If you need a ruling, please ask a qualified scholar. If you need medical or mental health support, please speak to a professional.
If you are in crisis, the app will show you helpline information. Please use it.
Rhumi is currently free to download and use. We may introduce paid features in the future. If we do, we will update these terms, and nothing you already have will start costing money without your agreement.
You need an account to sync your writing across devices. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
What you write in Rhumi is yours. We don't claim ownership of your journal entries, and we don't read them, publish them, sell them, or use them to train anything. We store them so we can show them back to you, and you can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app at any time.
Rhumi includes an assistant that answers questions about the Qur'an and hadith.
How it works, and why that matters: the assistant never writes scripture. Every verse and hadith it shows you is retrieved from a fixed, licensed source and rendered by our software — not generated. The assistant's own words around those sources are machine-generated and can be wrong.
Treat its answers as a starting point for your own reading, not as an authority. Every answer carries a note saying so. If an answer is wrong or troubling, please report it using the button on the answer, or email us.
Don't use the assistant to produce or seek content that is unlawful, abusive, or intended to demean anyone.

We are grateful to all of them. These attributions are a condition of our permission to use this material and will always appear in the app.
Please don't copy the app's content wholesale, resell it, reverse-engineer it, or use it to build a competing product. Please don't try to break it, overload it, or access other people's data.
Rhumi is offered as it is. We try to keep it working and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or entirely free of errors. We may change or discontinue features, and we'll give reasonable notice where we can.
You can stop using Rhumi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: Rhumi is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on the app's reflections or assistant answers as religious, legal, medical or professional advice.
We may update these terms. If we make a material change we'll say so in the app. Continuing to use Rhumi after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections your local law gives you that can't be contracted out of.
